Swift Princess Back To Winning Ways
| 2nd May 2008
|
The extremely consistent, SWIFT PRINCESS, added another win to her form yesterday when bursting through close home to take the 5f Fillies' Handicap at Redcar for Tweenhills Racing.
It was her first win of the season, having won twice and been placed five times last year. Trainer Karl Burke believes this four-year-old filly is a likely sort for the Ayr Gold Cup so watch this space...

Marathon Man
| 14th April 2008
|
David Redvers completed Sunday’s Flora London Marathon in a fantastic 3 hours and ten minutes. A little foot-sore, he even made it into the office for work as usual on Monday.
David's fine efforts raised money for both the Countryside Alliance and Help for Heroes, a charity which helps those who have been seriously wounded in Britain’s current conflicts.

Fillies In Good Form
| 5th March 2008
|
The three Tweenhills Racing fillies are all in good form in their preparations for the forthcoming Flat Season according to their respective trainers.
Sir Mark reports that GOLDEN BUTTON is doing strong canters at the moment and he is extremely pleased with her progress. He hopes that she will be making her racecourse debut by the beginning of May.
Chris Wall reports that XANDRA is also doing well. She spent most of February doing long slow canters and then began using Warren Hill last week. Yesterday she did her first strong canter in a group and that went well. She should start galloping in two to three weeks.
SWIFT PRINCESS is in good form reports her trainer Karl Burke. She has filled out well over the winter and Karl is excited about her prospects for the 2008 season. Currently she is working well when doing pieces of work (strong canters) on the bridle, and is pencilled in for a few races in April.

Warming Up For The New Flat Season
| 31st January 2008
|
The three Tweenhills fillies have all started their training preparations for the new Flat season.
The extremely consistent SWIFT PRINCESS, who has won twice and been placed five times, has returned to trainer Karl Burke. She is looking in fine condition having done very well for her winter break. She has just started light canter work following time doing lots of trotting.
GOLDEN BUTTON has gone back to her trainer Sir Mark Prescott. She has been doing light work for the last month at Tweenhills in preparation and is looking in good order.
XANDRA's trainer Chris Wall reports “Xandra is well. She has been doing plenty of trotting during January and all being well will begin cantering towards the end of next week. She did herself well while at Tweenhills and is carrying plenty of condition, which is a good thing at this stage.”
