LEVALLOIS
Ten days before I bought LEVALLOIS in France he had finished an
excellent third in a listed race over hurdles at Enghein.
A winner of numerous races under all codes, LEVALLOIS was sold
as part of the Wildenstein dispersal at the Goffs Sale at Saint-Cloud,
and Philip and I could scarcely believe our luck when he slipped
through the net for €24,000.
His form is absolutely rock solid in his native France and as
a result the handicapper will take few chances with him. However,
he has beaten some serious horses, is as sound as a bell and is
still only six years old.
His trainer is thrilled with the way he has come on since his
arrival and we believe that he will give shareholders an immediate
taste of jump racing at the highest level.
