A classy two-year-old, Clare Hills won the Listed Hilary Needler Trophy (Fillies) at Beverley in June, following up her maiden win at Carlisle on her debut run. She was also fourth to champion two-year-old Flashy Wings in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot at York in 2005. She was sold at Tattersalls December Breeding Stock Sales for 65,000gns
